Healthy Recipes
Water is SOO important for our health. When we don't drink enough our entire body dries out. You see it in your skin, you may suffer from constipation, your digestion slows, your blood pressure rises, your body becomes more acidic and so many other symptoms occur.
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite "tasty, flavored water" recipes with you. You can drink them immediately but I find that if you let them infuse for at least an hour they taste really delicious and if you let them sit for 4 hours yummmmm. I recommend that you use fresh organic fruits and herbs if possible. You can also use frozen fruit if you don't have fresh and it will taste almost as good
1 small lemon sliced
2 slices ginger
One of my favorites - it brings the summer right into your water.


1 small lemon sliced
1/4 cup basil leaves

1/2 orange
2 slices of ginger (if you grate it you will have little pieces of ginger floating, if you like that them grate it)




1 cup watermelon
1/4 cup mint


Happy Drinking, these may make drinking 3 liters a day easier for many of you. A few other recipes you may want to try that I didn't make today that are delicious:

Peach, Lemon, Ginger water
1/3 of a nice size peach sliced1 small lemon sliced
2 slices ginger

Strawberry, Lemon, Basil water
1/2 cup sliced strawberries1 small lemon sliced
1/4 cup basil leaves


Pineapple, Orange, Ginger Water
1/2 cup chunked pineapple1/2 orange
2 slices of ginger (if you grate it you will have little pieces of ginger floating, if you like that them grate it)


Grapefruit and Rosemary
1/2 grapefruit
a few sprigs of rosemary
1/2 grapefruit
a few sprigs of rosemary


Watermelon and Mint water
1 cup watermelon
1/4 cup mint

- cinnamon water - just put a cinnamon stick in the water
- ginger/cinnamon - a cinnamon stick and a few slices of ginger
- cucumber/lime/mint 1/2 cucumber, 1 lime and 1/4 cup mint leaves
